Right a Wrong, Become an Audiopedia Ally

Vulnerable, insecure and powerless. This is how we all felt when the corona crisis hit us. When our lives, and those of our loved ones, were suddenly threatened by an incalculable menace.

Women in developing countries are destined to live like this for their entire life. Their daily threats are called malaria, cholera, tuberculosis, diarrhea, pneumonia, AIDS and measles, to name a few. And they don't have healthcare like we do.

Providing them with accessible health education is the least we can do. But how can we convey this knowledge to women who are marginalized and often illiterate?

Audiopedia is making health knowledge audible. Since 2016 we are developing and implementing accessible technologies and localized audio contents. Our goal is to provide health education and life skills to all women, everywhere. To achieve this, we are working closely with local NGOs, scientists, technology companies and thousands of volunteers.

Audiopedia is open knowledge for the forgotten billion. We are freeing knowledge from literacy to empower rural women and fight gender injustice. All our contents and technologies are open access. Knowledge is power, open knowledge is empowerment.

You can help us crowdfund this pioneering and independent non-profit project. Our annual budget of US$ 60.000 equals 0.07% of Wikipedia's budget. Wikipedia is fantastic, but we believe that all women have a right to knowledge.

Become an Audiopedia Ally today and support marginalized women sustainably. With a monthly donation of just US$ 5 you will help crowdfund a project that is changing the life of millions. Join a growing group that aims to fight one of the world's greatest injustices.
